April 2004: In the break between filming the third and fourth installments of Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)), he appeared as the special Harry Potter guest at the Armageddon Sci-Fi and Comics Convention in Auckland, New Zealand.
After he read the first book of Harry Potter, he would dress up as Harry and run around his room. This was before he got the part of Neville.
Attends St Mary's High School in Ikley, West Yorkshire.

Ur a cool and excellent actor. I luv the character neville longbottom. thats an up for u because im really not the type to say "I love this charcter". But i can't help it. ur so cool. and cute. u just keep getting cuter and cuter. anyway, My favoite seen is when they show u dancing in the boys dormitory.

hey matthew i have heard so much a bout u and that u are a great acter. well i am 15 and i have decided i want to take up acting to u got any tips for me because i realy realy realy want to be a acter so bad because of the many adventure u can have with ur friends on the set it just seems like a fun life. by the way i love u in the movies u are halarious and it is fun to see what caos u can get urself into.
