a charming little musical that is better seen on stage than on film, but its still a solid movie with a perfect cast.

It?s been a fair while since watching this film, which was a childhood favorite of mine. A rags to riches tale with a heartwarming end. Great performances from Albert Finney and Tim Curry.

Good stuff, although the scary penultimate scene caused me to cry hard enough to make my mom rethink the appropriateness of taking a 4-year-old to the theater.

I think the 1982 version of Annie was the best. For one, all the great actors: Carol Burnett, Albert Finney, and Time Curry! Plus, it's directed by John Huston. It's a very well made movie, great songs and dances, story, etc.
