Great film. The style was simply fascinating and the cinematography was brillant as well. I think the best thing about the film was it's film noire presence that it gave off. The editing was by far original and something very interesting to watch.

I really want to see this, I loved sin city mostly because of the three different stories it had going on, and the fact that tarantino helped direct some of it, just kinda bummed he isn't doing this one

IMHO Sin City was the most faithful comic reproduction on the screen - EVER - and it broke new ground in terms of visual invention to make that bridge work. Miller's milieu is violent and dark but his brilliance is in creating characters within that darkness who reach for goodness, honor, tenderness - reach for it, or in some small way within their insane surroundings, exemplify it. IMHO Sin City was the most faithful comic reproduction on the screen - EVER - and it broke new ground in terms of visual invention to make that bridge work. Frank Miller gives movie directors a lot to work with as his comics are practically already cinematic storyboards. But I was very very impressed with the faithfulness of the first Sin City movie and I will absolutely see the sequel. As Frank Miller wrote many volumes of the comic, we can count on many Sin City stories yet to be told before the movie makers start making sequels for sequels' sake.

the first sin city was good because it was a very strange movie. It had very good actors, some well known. Sin city has got even more actors so im looking forward to it

I imagine this one's a couple years down the road, Rodriguez is gonna begin filming Red Sonja by this fall, and I think he want's to get his hands on a remake of Barbarella after that.
