"UP" gets off to an amazing start with probably the best 40 minutes Pixar has ever concieved, but as soon as the film reached South America, I felt it just didn't work as well as the first half or so promised. It just became too conventional and fell just shy of greatness which w...( read more)as very disappointing.

A very imaginative and creative adventure from Pixar, Up is easily the best animated movie of 2009. Up is an endearing film that is fun and enjoyable for both kids and adults. I loved the opening scene that detailed his life with Ellie... it was touching. The supporting characters also served to enhance the story, including the little boy Russell, the talking dog, and the exotic bird Kevin. Overall, Up is a heartwarming story about life and adventure. It's definitely one of Pixar's finest.
