- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsKill definitely could be India's answer to John Wick. For a raw, rustic and hardcore action movie, Kill delivers where it needs to. It has some of the most innovative ways of increasing kill count. If SRV's 'Animal' was violent, then Kill is the "pro max" version. Of the ~106 minutes of runtime, there might be hardly 10 minutes in total without bloodshed. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat keeps both the action and emotions at its raw form. Not for the faint hearted, Bhat, along with his action coordinators and directors, delivers rock solid action sequences which comes one after the other. The execution here really lifts this movie which is otherwise filled with cliche plot devices. Then again, from a movie titled "Kill" you shall not be expecting anything else. While the emotional core of the story felt weak and seen one too many times, all is forgotten once the punches land and all of them land perfectly. Biggest advantage of Kill is not stretching the runtime and straightaway establishing the premise and once the set up is done, its all action thereafter. Though cliched and predictable, Bhat places the plot devices strategically and makes you want to continue the blows till the last dacoit is down. Kill is also a perfect example of how to built the anticipation of the audience by focusing on the how instead of the what. To sum up, Kill is highly recommended for the lovers of the genre, while for the rest this might not be your cup of tea.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is awesome for action lovers👍🏼 The action intelligently builds up from a soldier's defensive blows to maim, but, not to kill, to pure rage and no holds barred mayhem, fast paced action and edge of the seat twists in the plot to keep you hooked within that train throughout the movie!!!👍🏼Mind-blown🤯
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe movie in its own right will become a cult of its own. Don't dismiss this is just an action film. It has great story, great direction, great editing , great cinematography, and ofcourse tremendous action sequences Such great action that even Hollywood will take a bow. Innovative brutal gruesome fight sequences. Also there are some fair amount of surprises that will keep you at the edge of the seat.. Superb casting..everyone has a back story. And bro... Raghav, take a bow.. Man, could have never ever imagined you in such a role. Kudos goes to the director himself, Nagesh, at having such an eye to pick up the gems! Lakshya is a class man! That booming voice , tall and broad and going nuts to avenge his love.. too good. India got its own John Wick. We surely want more of him.. Tanya was great too ,and everybody who got to share the screentime did amazing job to keep the movie as real as possible. A great watch. A must watch!
