Liza With a "Z"

The talented Broadway actress fresh off her success in "Caberet". Shows like this should watched by those studying to be on stage - she is a "triple threat" - and the camera work is pretty good for the early 70's. Bear in mind that the enthusiastic audience were no doubt among the richest of her NYC fans (& admirers of her parents as well).

For any music fan, this is a must, dated, but amazing to see what an American legend of voice/stage could really do with her instrument. This was as her star was rising still.

Judy Garland and her daughter Liza Minnelli are definitely the best performer who ever lived. This concert was impressive. Liza's energy and sentiment was reflected in each of her songs. Amazing dancer and singer!

Finally got to see this. There's no doubt about it. Fosse's dance moves are simply classic!

An amazing show for someone who doesn't ever watch recorded concerts.

Liza appeared for a wacky Q&A after the TIFF screening of this. That was probably more memorable than the movie itself. Great music though.
