Low budget? Bravo! Virtually unknown (to me, at least) actors? Bravo! Unfancy camera work? Bravo! This is one in a thousand movies, an absolute masterpiece of deep, grinding exploration of the souls of real people. It was impossible to detach oneself from empathy with, and sorrow for all those hurt in this amazing story. Five stars is not enough.

Wow! How this got anything higher than 5% from either score is a mystery. I was so chuffed to find a movie where the lead guy was more than a bit part because he always crops up in interesting things, he's a fine actor, they all were. The basics of the plot are sound enough also, not exactly new but had the potential to make a truly riveting film. But no, somehow, even with all it had, its quite honestly one of thee most boring things ive seen since ditching my shudder subscription. Maybe because i stuck with it when i was desperate to switch off after 15minutes, but the synopsis promises over the top twisted revenge after all. Just think, how would such a chap deal with the situation. I really don't understand what people enjoyed about this, its not even a slow burner, its damn near stationery and giving off a chill. Avoid at all costs

Bullies should get what they deserved.

Teacher (2019): Topnotch, seething indie film about a troubled teacher who crosses lines to protect his bullied students. Suspenseful throughout, you care about the characters and are caught up in it all. Add several real surprises and twists and you have an excellent film shot on pennies. Performances are all strong and ring true and Kevin Pollak is a great heel. Bravo. Don't miss it.

It's a great love story of a man with nature. It definitely is worth a watch.

Perfectly written psychological thriller / character drama. Expertly acted & crafted. It's easily one of the best independent movies of the last several years. The themes of bullying, injustice, and coping with hardships are timeless.

The plot moved a bit slowly in this film, but it got it's point across. Well acted and something a little different.

Terrible movie! It's almost like it was made by some high school film students. The acting was atrocious and the screenplay and production were terrible. It was so bad it was comical.

I really liked this. I know that's not very scientific but that's all. I liked it.

This is a powerful, brutal, raw film about bullying, its effects on children, and the cycle of violence. David Dastmalchian (who I loved in The Dark Knight and Prisoners) gives one of the best performances I've seen all year! I liked the overall film more than the ending, hence my 3.5/5 rating.
