The Retirement Plan

I found the movie to be overall quite enjoyable and entertaining. Primarily it had a focus on comedy and action that worked rather well with primary actors' skills, while having some background intrigue that slowly makes its way throughout the run time. Where the film falls short is when it seems to run out of time in the end, where perhaps the final twenty minutes feel rushed to resolve as many loose threads as possible and the careful pacing that had been present is all but lost.

If I could give less than zero tomatoes I would. Awful.

Very enjoyable movie. Cage is brilliant and the direction flawless. Highly recommend it.

I don't think it's possible to make a worse movie. I think you can tie this one but it can't be worse.

One of Nicholas Cage's most recent and actually well done movie. Creative comedy mixed with action

Under-the-radar action comedy that is a bit cliche. However, Ron Perlman has an outstanding performance as a lovable villain, there are references to Shakespeare, and of course Nick Cage puts in a very "Nick Cage" performance. Fun and full of action (and violence) for 90 minutes.

Low… low budget… maybe they blew the $$ on Nick Cages fee! Funny? entertaining? Barely…, but the cast of villains is comical ( looks like they got their extras from the local mall) and the special effects and stunts are amateur.

The poor script leads to awful acting, Cage is slowly becoming a really bad caricature of himself. Dreadful I watched this for free and I still want my money back 😩

Bad writing. Bad acting. Unnecessary foul language. I love watching Nicholas Cage movies as much as anyone - but did I say BAD writing. Ugh. It's sooooo bad.

Cage needs to quit if this is the best he can do terrible!
