Very slow and jokes not at all funny. Very realistic on the take of a real persons life going through heartache but could have been alot better. With all the good actirs in it, was disappointed that the script wasnt better for them, esp the jokes.

I really enjoy Stella Meghie work. Her work is timeless, smart and witty. She tells our story through our lens. Her work is refreshing and carefree. Black people can have love, wealth and a beautiful life. She gets that.

Extremely funny! I have already watched it twice & will probably watch it again after the details fade a little. And yes, it IS still funny the second time thru. Plus, the music is perfect...which always makes it even better. Enjoy!

This film got worse and worse by the minute, please avoid watching, it was awkward and confusing. It almost felt like they made it bad on purpose, this film was total waste of my time. Saddest part is that it had great actors, I expected way more of it.

This is such a great movie, it is a new and refreshing approach to normal Romantic Comedy movies. Sasheer Zamata is remarkable in this film, she is hilarious and very relatable. The all black cast was the diversity this genre of movie needed.

The acting, the directing, the music, the location, the dialogue...all of it was perfection. It came off as though it would be boring or not good at the very beginning but no! I couldn't stop watching it. It's a simple, peaceful yet dramatic movie. I know that makes no sense lol but it had such a calming, yet dramatic vibe to it, very refreshing! LOVED IT!!!

This film was funny, sweet and refreshing! It made my day! It's so wonderful to see Black people just being incredibly human on screen! Wonderful light dialogue, excellent casting, superb acting and a heart warming scenario! I think this along with The Photograph are my new go-to-feel-good films! Thank you Stella Meghie for your wonderfully brilliant writing & directing! Can't wait for more!!!!

No real thing that kept you glued to the TV. My wife and I both fell asleep and we’re disappointed because we thought this was a comedy although I never saw any comment at all
