I loved this movie. Zoe Kanters was delightful, amazing, unique, and her character Emma, stole my heart. She's a breakout movie star waiting to happen. Daniel Weingarten, and Michael Blaustein were very good as well, and all three worked together smoothly. The story was very interesting, not your everyday run-of-the-mill tale. The movie flowed very well, and for an independent film with a very limited budget, I was totally surprised how good it was. These three unknown talents wrote, produced, and starred in the film. I'm very impressed. Thank you for sharing your talent. Here's to wishing these three friends much success! I want to see a sequel because I need to know what happens to the characters. UP There, Again!

This movie is so engrossing. It is filmed in beautiful Norway, Michigan and uses local establishments. The characters are very strong and well developed. I've seen this film three times already and encourage all to see it for themselves.

I went to see this movie mostly to support film making in my home state of Michigan. I wasn’t expecting much but both my husband and I agreed it’s one of the best we’ve seen this year. The heart of the story is based on the aftermath of a real crime committed in the small UP town where the film was shot. One of the film makers lived there during that time and the film explores the impact it had on her, and how she and the other main characters deal with their unresolved problems. It’s touching, engaging, funny, and relatable. Zoe Kanters’ performance is a stand out. She has “it” - that inexplicable quality that I predict will make her a star. Amazing what these three young filmmakers could do on a small budget. And of course the setting and local characters are the icing on the cake!

A compelling story of a reporters visit to a small mining town in Northern Michigan, U.P. There represents the best of what indie films have to offer. The cast is incredibly talented, the script funny and engaging, and the film is beautifully edited and shot. I won't spoil the journey but suffice it to say it will take you on a an amazing and, at times heart wrenching, journey through small town america. If you're looking for a film to watch on a rainy Sunday look no further, sit down, and buckle up for an experience you won't soon forget.

Absolutely fantastic! An emotional journey through a part of tragedy not often talked about. Really pulls at the heart strings in all the right ways.

This film took me on a journey, like reading a great book! The characters were so fully dimensional, authentic and beautifully flawed - I felt like I lost new friends when the movie ended. My quick attachment to the characters allowed me to truly experience the story as it unfolded, like I was a part of it, not just watching from the outside. The performances by the trio of characters had me laughing at times and emotionally moved at others. Definitely refreshing - in both story and performances. Go see it!!
