One or two ok stories and the rest propaganda.

Aside from Xu Zheng's section and maybe the one featuring Ge You, this film is hardly entertaining. It's got nothing to do with nationalism too, the stories are really just that bland, poorly written or unexciting... They should have let Xu Zheng write the entire movie.

Pure communist China’s propaganda. Of note, this film is a calculated packaging of nationalism, which on surface, could be fed into someone’s (particularly brainwashed Chinese or Chinese Communist Party funded agents) claim that this is not about nationalism. Additionally and in reality, we can ask the question to ourselves, how many “achievements” as painted in this propaganda movie are filthily supported by stealing technology around the world. Check Huawei for example. Importantly, the Chinese Communist Party’s strategy to rule has always been painting nationalism and anti-imperialism (particularly against the US), which has been quite effective since its competition against the Soviet Union for a supreme communism regime. It’s mind-boggling to see such a propaganda movie gets infiltrated into the US cinema. I guess the Chinese ownership (Dalian Wanda Group) of AMC says a lot. This has to stop. If anyone wants to help, one easy way I suggest is to short the AMC stock on the open market.
