This is truly the worst remake of the Indian film of 70's. Welcome to the league of bad remakes, which include RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG - 2007 (remake of SHOLAY) and DON - 2006 (remake of DON - 1976)

Zanjeer is not half as good as the original. Zanjeer is a masala potboiler that looks outdated,and only the action and acting save the film.Zanjeer is the cliched story of a cop fighting the bad guy and wins at the end. Nothing new,the film does have some good action scenes which are first rate.Zanjeer is a film actual that should have never been remade, its a old fashioned story and lacks depth for a 2013 film. New makers fail,they add no novelty.Zanjeer is saved by the great acting of Ram Charan Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra .But what can actors do when ever else is a -.Music sucks also.Dir Apoorva Lakhia fails in all accounts, is this same guy who made SAL ??? What was use of remaking Zanjeer when you offer nothing new. Overall Zanjeer 2013 is outdated, offers nothing new in the plot and also has 3rd class music. The only saving grace is the good action and acting. Only watch if one must, or to see BABA in action again. South SuperStar Ram Charan fans can also watch he is good, but he should have not done the film. Half a star extra for Sanju BABA LOL

I haven't seen the first Zanjeer, so for me, this was a good movie. Low budget and on the go picture. Ram Charan did great job and seeing this as Bollywood debut, once can see that he knows acting and good lip syncing. Priyanka and Ram Charan look good together and overall I am happy and this crisp story will not let you down because of shortage of good Hindi movies.

Started out with a Bond style title song and then went downhill from there

its a good remake with good actors eventhough it falls short of its prequel......it should be a PG 13 and not an R

If remakes such Agneepath & Don can be well made entertaining films, Zanjeer is an example of why no more remakes should be made!!..this has to be the worst film of 2013!!..the direction is so amateurish that it makes you tube videos look good..the screenplay is so horrible & funny that i rather look at Hollywood rom com & say "that's a work of art" :p....Sanjay Dutt is for around 4-5 scenes plus a song..it seems as he was sleepwalking the whole time just doing random stuff with that funny wig of his...Priyanka is playing the same chirpy do good er heroine it seems she walked into the wrong movie..& Prakash Raj is doing what he is good at the same old character (he plays in Wanted, Singham, Dabangg 2, Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, Mumbai Mirror & the upcoming Singh Saheb The Great) ..a real talent waste...Ram Charan Teja is the only saving grace of this unintentional comic film..If his career takes of in Bollywood he can be touted as the next action star!!..Verdict :Please avoid!!
