Erwin Stoff

Though few probably know his name, Erwin Stoff is one of the most successful Romanian-born exports to Hollywood. The personal manager founded Three Arts Entertainment, one of the most successful boutique talent agencies. His main client has remained Keanu Reeves, and as his manager-producer, Stoff has played a role in many of the actor's big projects. In cases where Stoff's name does not appear in the credits, as is the case with "Speed," it's usually because there were not enough extra producer credits to go around. His Reeves credits include 1999's "The Matrix," the 2008 remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still," and the 1991 comedy sequel "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey." Ironically, one of Stoff's most successful ventures as a producer came not via Reeves but through the actor's favorite female co-star, Sandra Bullock. Stoff was an executive producer of 2009's "The Blind Side," the true football sports story that was a huge hit and a Best Actress Oscar vehicle for the actress.
