Jeremy Child

Jeremy Child was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Child's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Michael Caine action film "Play Dirty" (1968), the drama "The Peace Game" (1969) with Arthur Pentelow and "Emily" (1976). He also appeared in "The Stud" (1978), "Quadrophenia" (1979) and "Sir Henry at Rawlinson End" (1980). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the drama "Sleeps Six" (1984) with Ben Kingsley, the Sir Paul McCartney musical "Give My Regards to Broad Street" (1984) and the Pierce Brosnan action flick "Taffin" (1988). He also appeared in the comedy "A Fish Called Wanda" (1988) with John Cleese. More recently, he continued to act in the Jonathan Pryce dramatic adaptation "Regeneration" (1998), "Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?" (2001) and the Aamir Khan adventurous drama "Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India" (2001). He also appeared in "Wimbledon" (2004). Child most recently acted in the dramatic biopic "The Iron Lady" (2011) with Meryl Streep.
