JoJo Siwa
JoJo Siwa was born Joelle Joanie Siwa on May 19, 2003 in Omaha, NE. At age 10, Siwa competed on the television program "Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition" (Lifetime 2012-13). Shortly afterwards, she landed a spot on host Abby Lee Miller's Abby Lee's Dance Company, and appeared on the corresponding documentary television series "Dance Moms" (Lifetime 2011-). Following her departure from the program in 2016, Siwa began to cultivate a career as a singer and actor. That same year, she released her debut single "Boomerang" to moderate success, launched a line of decorative hair bows in company with Claire's, and created the web series "JoJo's Juice" (YouTube 2016). The following year, she began making appearances on TV series like "School of Rock" (Nickelodeon 2016-18) and "Lip Sync Battle Shorties" (Nickelodeon 2016-), co-presenting the latter with host Nick Cannon.
