Lyne Renee

Born in Belgium in 1979, Line Van Wambeke studied acting at Studio Herman Teirlick in Antwerp. She took the name Lyne Renée and appeared on Belgian stages and screens for a few years before deciding to move to Los Angeles in 2006. Her first English language credits were the independently financed films "Love at First Kill" (2008), and "The Hessen Conspiracy" (2009). Renée gained more exposure in 2012, when she played a recurring role in the mini-series "Parade's End" (HBO, 2012), as well as a multi-episode arc on "Strike Back" (Sky1, 2010-; Cinemax, 2011-). Another supporting role followed in the biographical mini-series "Madoff" (ABC, 2016) starring Richard Dreyfuss in the title role, and another series recurring role on the sword and sorcery show "Of Kings and Prophets" (ABC, 2016). Renée landed her first series regular role, appearing on the show "Deep State" (Epix, 2018-), playing the wife of an ex-spy played by Mark Strong.
