Stefan Arngrim

Stefan Arngrim owes much of his success to the popularity of genre programming, which continues to have a place for him, even decades after his break-out in "Land of the Giants." While still a teenager, he was cast in the Irwin Allen-produced science fiction show, which aired from 1968 to 1970, as Barry Lockridge, a passenger on a futuristic spaceship that crash-lands on a world of enormous proportions. Prior to "Land of the Giants," he guest-starred on various television shows throughout the mid-'60s and continued to appear on the small screen during the '70s, until the movies came calling. His roles in the subsequent decade included parts in low-budget and moderately budgeted fare aimed at the teen set. In "Class of 1984," a cult classic action film about a music teacher who aims to clean up an inner-city high school, he played a junkie gang member named Drugstore. While Arngrim slowed his career down considerably during the next 10 years, from the mid-'90s onward he appeared in numerous genre films and television series, including a two-part episode of "The X-Files" that aired in 1996 and 2010's feature version of "The A-Team." He has also had a recurring role as the mysterious store owner in the science fiction show "Fringe," beginning with its second season.
