Ty Simpkins
Born August 6, 2001, Ty Simpkins' acting career started before he turned 1 year old, with a role in a few episodes of the soap opera "One Life to Live" (ABC, 1968-2012). Next up was a stint on The Guiding Light (CBS, 1952-2009) which kept him busy through his fourth birthday. Already a pro, his first feature film role was an appearance in Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" (2005). The next year he was in "Little Children" (2006) as the young son of Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson. In 2008, Simpkins appeared in "Pride and Glory" and "Revolutionary Road" playing opposite his real life sister, Ryan Simpkins, as children of the lead characters in each film. Simpkins took a lead role as Dalton Lambert (again playing Patrick Wilson's son) in the smash hit horror thriller "Insidious" (2009). In "Iron Man 3" (2012) Simpkins played the smart aleck who helps an injured Tony Stark, then, in he returned for another go in the role of Dalton for "Insidious: Chapter 2" (2013). Simpkins was set to co-star as one of the visitors trapped on Isla Nublar when things go awry once more, in "Jurassic World" (2015), a reboot of the "Jurassic Park" (1993) film series.
